Country cottage holiday accommodation

Ciao ! We live at Casa della Fontana (Fountain House) a traditional working farmhouse in southern Piedmont, the famous wine-growing area of Italy situated between the majestic Alps and the sapphire blue Mediterranean Sea.

We are pleased to offer guest accommodation at Wisteria Cottage, in the neighbouring quiet village of Sessame (sleeps six). More details here.

Wisteria Cottage is an ideal base for touring the Monferrato and Langhe wine growing districts, whilst taking the opportunity to sample the wines and local cuisine. Contact us for details of our guided tours, and let us do the driving.
The unique cultural landscape of this area is under consideration by UNESCO for World Heritage status
Nearby there are a wide variety of places to visit, where you can experience another culture and way of life; each weekend there are usually several festas taking place across Piedmont.
Or, for a change of scenery, the attractions of Turin, Genoa, Lakes Maggiore and Orta and the Italian Riviera are all within reach.
For the more active, there are beautiful country walks from our front door and quiet roads to cycle on.

But wherever you go in Monferrato and Langhe, you will enjoy magnificent scenery, access to world class food and wine and Italian weather.

Casa della Fontana and Wisteria Cottage are accessible from the UK via Genoa, Milan Malpensa and Turin airports.

You may not have been to this area of Italy before, so visiting Piedmont will be a fascinating adventure. When we found it, we liked it so much, we moved here !
