Chardonnay vineyardThe Chardonnay vineyard is our largest. It was created in 1990, and there are around 1,400 individual vines.During the 2007/08 winter we worked hard to clear back its boundaries which had become overgrown, and renewed about 150 missing vines. In Autumn 2008 we had all the boundary drains re-dug. We are now creating an additional vineyard, which has been excavated prior to planting in Spring 2009 with moscato grapes, in the field directly behind Casa della Fontana. |
