Working FarmCasa della Fontana is a working farm - we grow and sell grapes. When we bought it in 2006, it had been neglected for a few years.There are numerous ongoing projects to reclaim more land to a cultivatable condition, plant fruit and other trees, beat back boundaries and extend the cultivated area. In the longer term, we also hope to re-introduce wine-making. We are delighted that our neighbours are also investing in new vineyards, and just up the road is a leading local restaurant ! The outlook for this small valley is good.
