Cycling is very popular in Italy. For the
occasional
cyclist the floodplains of the Rivers Po and Tanaro are very flat and not
too far away; some of the side valleys of the nearer Belbo and Bormida
valleys are quiet, albeit shorter in length.
More energetic cyclists will be able to chose
from an ample supply of undulating terrain, and suggested itineraries for
all ability levels are available from Tourist Information Centres.
