What's happening

This link leads to a selective diary of major local events and festivals. For 2009 these are being amended as and when dates are published

For this year only, Turin is host to the 'World Air Games' between 6th and 13th June, which will see ballooning at Mondovi, para and hang gliding at Avigliana and other events centred on Turin airport

Altogether there will be 26 races. Other disciplines are gliding, parachuting, air acrobatics, helicopters, microlight, experimental aircraft and aeromodelling.

The International Cheese Festival at Bra, organised by the Slow Food Movement every other year, will be held on 18 - 21 September 2009.
