Our Adventure Began Here....
Our love of good food and wine led us to discover Piedmont, and we liked it
so much that we moved here to live.
So, after
thirty years of professional practice in finance and healthcare,
respectively, in 2006 my husband Bob and I relocated to the Asti Langhe with three
of our four sons and our Land Rovers.
Our eldest son Robert (standing)
has remained in the UK. He is married to Rachel and they live and work in Yorkshire.
William has joined the family
firm.
Edward (15) and Oliver (13) attend
Italian schools.
We have purchased Casa della Fontana, a cascina (large farmhouse)
in Cassinasco comune which has its own vineyards, and will be offering
accommodation to guests who want to find out more about this outstandingly
beautiful wine-producing area.
We have also purchased
Wisteria Cottage in the neighbouring village of Sessame (sleeps six) which
is now available for rental.
